Public engagement and advocacy is not something new for research organisations. There is a wealth of engagement activity already happening and this Award recognises an individual, team, project or institution that has developed and maintained innovative ways of connecting with the public and other interested parties, and communicating the activity and benefits of research. All of our nominees have demonstrated a unique approach to developing and delivering methodologies that actively engage the wider public in the research process from start to finish.
